Tea House

OUR PROCESS

Our client wanted to design a meditation and tea room situated within the trees of their private residence.  Three trees arrayed in a triangular layout created the support structure, almost as if Nature had placed them specifically for this purpose.  The orientation of the main opening faces toward a stream to the east, eliminating sound from the nearby homes to the west to fully immerse the space in the natural environment.
