Private Residence — Addition
OUR PROCESS
This apartment project found its voice through a widowed grandmother’s desire to house her daughter and four year-old grandson while preserving the family legacy of craftsmanship. In homage to her husband’s woodwork, the entire interior is finished with white oak from his woodshop. Niches were also designed to house objects and furniture from the family's history. The atmosphere within the walls of this space is one of pure love, as the environment is literally wrapped in the material collected by a husband and a father.
